Hello! This is where all the important grown-up information lives.
I've tried to keep everything as clear and human-readable as possible. If something isn't covered here or you're not sure what applies to your order, email me at hello@taraminart.com and I'll be happy to help.
ORDERS & PAYMENT
All prices are shown in euros (€).
Payment is collected securely through the payment methods available at checkout. I don't receive or store your full payment card details.
Because most Taraminart sculptures are one of a kind, adding something to your cart does not necessarily reserve it. During busy shop updates, it is possible for two people to attempt to purchase the same sculpture at almost the same time. An order is only confirmed once checkout and payment have been successfully completed.
If a sculpture becomes unavailable while your order is processing, you won't be charged for the unavailable item.
CANCELLATIONS
If you need to cancel an order, please contact me as soon as possible.
If your order hasn't been dispatched yet, I can usually cancel it and issue a refund.
Once an order has been shipped, it can no longer be cancelled, but eligible orders may still be returned under the return policy below.
RETURNS
For non-personalised items, you have the right to change your mind and withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order.
You don't need to give me a reason, although you're welcome to tell me if you want to.
Please contact me within those 14 days before returning anything so I can provide the return details.
After notifying me that you'd like to return your order, the item must be sent back within 14 days.
Unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, you are responsible for the cost of returning it to me. I strongly recommend using tracked shipping.
Please return the sculpture safely packaged and in the condition in which you received it. You may be responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the item.
Once the returned item has arrived, I will process the refund in accordance with your applicable consumer rights. Refunds are normally made to the original payment method.
Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by this policy.
PERSONALISED PET PORTRAITS
Pet portraits are made specifically for you from photographs of your individual animal and are therefore personalised, made-to-order products.
Because of this, the standard 14-day change-of-mind withdrawal right does not apply to pet portraits.
This does not affect your rights if your portrait is faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise does not conform to what was agreed.
If there is a problem with your pet portrait, please contact me and I'll work with you to resolve it.
DAMAGED, FAULTY OR INCORRECT ORDERS
I pack every sculpture carefully, but occasionally a tiny animal may have a more eventful journey than intended.
If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact me as soon as possible and include:
• your order number
• a description of the problem
• clear photographs of the sculpture and packaging, where relevant
I'll arrange an appropriate solution in accordance with your consumer rights. Depending on the situation, this may include repair, replacement where possible, a price reduction or refund.
Because many Taraminart sculptures are unique, an identical replacement may not always be possible.
Goods sold to consumers are also covered by applicable statutory rights, including the legal guarantee for faulty or non-conforming goods.
SHIPPING
All Taraminart orders are shipped by me from Slovakia.
Standard worldwide shipping is currently €20 and orders are sent using DHL Express or GLS with tracking.
Orders are usually processed within 3–5 business days. Once dispatched, delivery usually takes approximately 3–7 business days, depending on the destination.
You'll receive an email with tracking information when your package is on its way.
Delivery estimates are not guarantees, and occasional delays caused by customs, carriers, weather or other circumstances outside my control can happen.
LOST OR DELAYED PACKAGES
If your tracking hasn't updated for an unusually long time or your package appears to be lost, please contact me.
I'll investigate the shipment with DHL/GLS rather than making you stare at the tracking page indefinitely and hope for the best.
If a shipment is confirmed as lost, I'll work with you on the appropriate resolution.
Please make sure the shipping address entered at checkout is correct. If you notice a mistake before your order has shipped, contact me immediately.
CUSTOMS & IMPORT CHARGES
International orders may be subject to the customs, tax and import rules of the destination country.
Where applicable, customers are responsible for charges imposed by their own country's authorities unless otherwise stated.
Original Taraminart sculptures shipped to the United States are declared as original artwork under HTS 9703, which is currently duty-free.
Customs rules can change, so I cannot guarantee how an individual shipment will be treated by local authorities.
COMBINED ORDERS
If you place multiple orders during the same shop update using the same name and delivery address, I may combine them into one package where practical.
If you've paid shipping more than once and I'm able to combine the orders, I'll refund the unnecessary additional shipping charge.
One box is usually quite capable of containing several little guys.
HANDMADE PRODUCTS
Every Taraminart sculpture is made and painted individually by hand.
Small variations and tiny imperfections are a natural part of handmade work and are not defects. Product photographs are intended to represent each sculpture as accurately as possible, although colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen.
Dimensions listed on the website are approximate.
The sculptures are collectible artworks and are not toys. Please keep them away from small children and pets.
CARE
Taraminart sculptures are made from polymer clay, painted with acrylic paint and sealed with protective varnish.
Treat them gently, avoid prolonged exposure to water, high heat and direct sunlight, and don't use harsh cleaning products.
If necessary, gently dust your sculpture with a soft, dry brush or cloth.
Please do not eat the sculptures.
I know they are approximately fun-sized snickers sized. This changes nothing.

Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer rights you have under applicable law.
PRODUCTS
I make and sell original handmade sculptures and related artwork.
I make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, prices and availability are accurate. If I discover a significant error affecting an order, I'll contact you as soon as possible.
PRICES
Prices displayed on the website are the prices charged for the products unless an obvious error has occurred.
Shipping charges are shown separately where applicable.
Any taxes included in or added to the purchase price will be handled as required by applicable law.
ORDERS
Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance if payment fails, an item is no longer available or there has been an obvious pricing or listing error.
Once an order has been successfully accepted, you'll receive confirmation by email.
I reserve the right to cancel and refund an order where I reasonably cannot fulfil it, including where a one-of-a-kind item has accidentally been sold twice because of simultaneous orders.
SHIPPING
Orders are shipped to the address supplied during checkout.
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete delivery address.
Estimated processing and delivery times are provided in good faith but may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside my reasonable control.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, the artwork, sculpture designs, photographs, illustrations, text and other original content on taraminart.com belong to Taraminart and/or Martina Čerňanová.
Buying a sculpture does not transfer copyright or intellectual property rights in the design or artwork.
You are welcome to share photographs of your Taraminart sculpture for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Taraminart artwork, photographs or designs may not be reproduced, manufactured, sold or used commercially without my permission.
WEBSITE USE
Please don't attempt to interfere with, damage, misuse or gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems.
LIABILITY
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, or limits any statutory rights available to consumers.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, I am not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside my reasonable control or for indirect losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the order was placed.
GOVERNING LAW
Taraminart is operated from Slovakia.
These terms are governed by applicable Slovak law, without depriving consumers of any mandatory protections they may have under the laws applicable to them.

WHAT INFORMATION DO I COLLECT?
Depending on how you use the website, I may receive information including:
• your name
• email address
• billing and shipping address
• telephone number, where provided
• order and transaction information
• messages you send to me
• customer account information
• technical information associated with your use of the website, such as device, browser, IP address and cookie information
Payment information is processed through the payment providers available at checkout. I do not receive or store your complete payment card details.
WHY DO I USE YOUR INFORMATION?
I use personal information where necessary to:
• process, fulfil and deliver your orders
• communicate with you about an order
• provide customer service
• manage customer accounts
• process refunds and resolve problems
• comply with accounting, tax and other legal obligations
• prevent fraud and maintain the security of the website
• operate and improve Taraminart and the website
Where required, processing is based on performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, my legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business, or your consent.
EMAIL MARKETING
I will only send marketing emails where I have an appropriate legal basis to do so.
Where marketing is based on your consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email.
Transactional emails about your orders or account are not marketing emails and may still be sent when necessary to provide the service you've requested.
WHO RECEIVES YOUR INFORMATION?
I don't sell your personal information.
I do use third-party services to operate Taraminart, and those providers may process the information necessary to perform their services.
These may include:
• Squarespace, which hosts and operates the website and online store
• payment providers used at checkout, which process payments
• DHL or GLS, which receives the information necessary to deliver your order
• providers used for email, analytics, accounting or other necessary business functions
These providers process information according to their own legal obligations and/or the arrangements governing the services they provide to Taraminart.
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, such transfers must be protected by an appropriate legal mechanism.
HOW LONG DO I KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
I keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including fulfilling orders, providing customer service and meeting legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Different categories of information may therefore be kept for different periods.
COOKIES
Taraminart.com may use cookies and similar technologies necessary for the website and shop to function and, depending on your choices, for analytics or other optional purposes.
Where consent is legally required for non-essential cookies, those technologies should only be used according to the choices you make through the website's cookie controls.
YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS
If the GDPR applies to you, depending on the circumstances you may have the right to:
• access the personal information held about you
• correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• request deletion of your information
• restrict certain processing
• object to certain processing
